Which Minecraft version do you find better, Bedrock or Java version?

I wanted to ask you which Minecraft version you prefer: Minecraft Bedrock or Minecraft Java version? And what do you think is better?

Di

It has always been Minecraft before it destroyed Microsoft. At least Java remained

In

More mods, texture packs and generally much more sophisticated. And there are absolutely no in-app purchases. And shaders are a very big advantage for me.

Av

Java Edition is the real Minecraft, I'm stubborn. More functions, multiplayer, mods, texture packs, skins. All free, which unfortunately has to be said.

In

Nor do I understand why the Bedrock Edition is now only called Minecraft and the Java Edition is not. I find it very pointless. The Bedrock Edition should also be called Bedrock Edition and the Java Edition only wanted to be called Minecraft. That's what it used to say!

Ka

However, Bedrock is free of charge

Java Edition does not

Ju

A Bedrock Edition also costs money.

gl

Did you download Bedrock Edition for free? Then you have a virus. Have fun!

Ka

Ne 😂

Ka

No own. Not

Allet virus free

In

Should only be called Minecraft *

Ju

Yes, almost for 27 euro: https://www.microsoft.com/...verviewtab

In

Where is Bedrock free of charge? It costs just as much or more on the PC than Java.

Ju

The Java version is a little cheaper than Bedrock Edition. It is about 4 euro cheaper: https://www.minecraft.net/...va-edition

In

I wrote it. Just didn't know how much it was anymore.

Me

Bedrock is purely money-making.

Me

Microsoft wants to get maximum profit from the investment. If possible, everyone should play the Bedrock edition, since they can make the most money with it.

Notch has certainly stated in a contract that the Java Edition must not be provided with in-app purchases etc.

Wh

Definitely java because it is better, more extensive and more played

Ju

I can confirm. Because even texture packs or skin are subject to a fee, I think it's cheeky. It's good that I didn't buy Bedrock Edition for my own money, but back in December 2016, where I bought Minecraft Java version, I also received Bedrock Edition for free, and out of curiosity I wanted to try this Minecraft. And yes, it's not bad, but would still use the Java version.

In

Of course, that would be a good thing if something like that is in a contract.

gl

Either with a fee or free of charge with a virus. I know from my own experience xD

Me

It stands with certainty, because otherwise Microsoft would certainly have messed up the Java edition.

But Microsoft is known to mess up everything…

Me

Dear Notch has certainly contractually regulated what may and may not be done with the Java version.

And to avoid this, they developed the Bedrock Edition to run their dirty app purchases there.
