RX Vega 64 VS GTX 1080 which is better?

Will soon put together a PC and decide between the two graphics cards

Would buy both used

Vega 64 for 250 euro and gtx 1080 for 280 euro

Which is better, what are the differences

Then actually only wants to gamble Fortnite, Minecraft, gta 5 and warzone

Would you have 240 fps all the way down in Fortnite?

My planned system

Ryzen 5 3600, one of the two graphics cards, be quiet 600w, B450 gaming pro carbon, 500gb ssd, sharkoon lit 200

The gtx 1080 is better in most games. The main difference is that the vega 64 is warmer and inefficient, and the gtx 1080 has "slower" memory, which vll could be interesting if you want to do professional things with it. At 1080p in low settings, the CPU will probably slow you down.

If you only play games, I would rather recommend the GTX 1080.

Is the 1080 more than 5% better than the vega 64 in games? Would otherwise get the vega 64 because it costs cheaper used

I would clearly take the GTX 1080. The Vega series is not exactly energy efficient, cool and quiet.

In games it has the same FPS in some games or up to 25% more power in some.

The surcharge is worth it. Also, be careful not to fall into a fake offer.
