The 2Ghz could be scarce. Even for Vanilla at least 3.2Ghz are recommended.

Would vlt. Good to know which FTB task you mean exactly. FTB Infinity Evolved pulls e.g. MUCH more power than FTB Lite.
But yes, your PC should actually be able to play any FTB output with more than 30 FPS. The i5 is enough, and the ram too.
The 8 GB of RAM is enough, although it could be more. The graphics chip is okay. The biggest problem is the processor. I assume it's a U-suffixed processor. Then that will be very close.
Just try it, FTB costs nothing.
