Feed the Beast Direwolf20 1.12 not working?

Somehow the Direwolf20 Mod doesn't work in my Minecraft. If you also start the mod in the Feed the Beast louncher, the Minecraft Louncher opens normally, but I just can't select the mod there. He doesn't appear at all (like in the picture below). Can someone help me, what exactly can I do that the mod is displayed to me?

No, this is my first mod. I haven't had any experience with mods yet.

If you want to play with mods it is not enough to just install them. You need Forge (there are lots of tutorials on YouTube). In order to play the mods you downloaded you have to put the file in a mod folder (if you don't have one you have to create one). It's best to watch a YouTube tutorial on how to install and play mods. When you have done everything you need, there's a Forge installation listed that you can then click and play. But as I said, the best thing to do is watch a YouTube tutorial on how to install and play mods.
