What is the difference between Minecraft Windows 10 Edition and Minecraft Java Edition.
The difference is that the Windows version does NOT use Java and is therefore much faster and less lagged. In addition, however, you get ALL extensions, be it texturepacks, skins etc ONLY for real money. Furthermore, there are only a fraction of extensions for the Windows version than for the Java version.
So if you want to have more options for mods etc., I would stick with the Java version.
Incidentally, the question has already been asked and answered several times. (see here →)
The Windows 10 edition is written in C ++, is now called Bedrock edition and is crossplay-capable between many devices such as xbox, playstation, mobile etc. Since it is written in C ++, it is more powerful.
The Java Edition is the "original" Minecraft, as the name suggests, written in Java, only and only playable with other Java Edition users.
You need Java for the Java Edition, right?
Yes
You have already answered the question yourself. )
Not quite. The Java Edition comes with its own Java.
The 2 games have VERY many differences. E.g. In Windows 10 edition you can't hold all items in your right hand, or in Java edition there's no Marketplace and Minecoins. Most of the things I can't remember, but I would recommend Java edition. You have to pay less.
