I healed a zombie villager and he turned into a farmer. I want him to be an armorer, but when I put the grindstone at his feet he just looks at me. I've already built a house for him. The videos on YouTube didn't help me. How do I change my job?
That does not work. Once a villager has his job, you can only change it in the NBT tags

Your experience probably does not refer to current versions where you can easily change the profession of a villager with the respective occupational block.
Sometimes it takes time for him to take up the new job. Just waiting still worked.
