I have played it at beta times, that is, more than 10 years. However, I played only at the beginning regularly, meanwhile I play it only sporadically. But sometimes it is really nice to follow the old times.

At that time I had started to Alpha 1.1 and played until full version 1.7.10 more or less active (rather sporadically).

Depends on what you mean by 'play'. The first time I played Minecraft in 2011 or something. As of 2014, I have played quite a lot and for about 2 years I play Minecraft really active. That could be because I'm still quite young.
