What is better a gamer pc or gamer laptop?

I like to play (but I also want to record the screen). Mostly I play minecraft but from time to time also fortnite and something… And I would like to grow a reasonable pc or laptop. Have inquire in many stores and said that the gamers pc is a bit better than a gamer laptop. But only wanted to ask again here how your experiences are so… And what you can recommend more.

Währe very cool if someone can help me further or know very well with it and give me some info where to look for when buying it…

Thanks in advance!

Ps: Sorry for the spelling, spelling is not my thing… 😂

PC is better because:

-heavy for the same performance

- fully upgradable

- Lower temperatures (better cooling) and thus longer life

-individual + larger screen (s)

Disadvantage: higher power consumption

If you need something stationary always a PC (Desktop)

Gaming laptops only make sense if you travel a lot for work, for example because you work on assembly

I do not want to miss my HP Omen (which, by the way, does not have to hide from a desktop) when I have to sit 600KM away from home in hotel rooms

At home on the WE but I also have a normal desktop

Gaming laptops only if there's no other way:

1: They are often more expensive than comparable PCs

2: They are very loud (devices with a GTX 1060 or 1070 will definitely be heard if a game is running)

3: They are very limited to not upgradeable (so I sell my every 3 years and buy a new one)

Just as an example my laptop has:

Intel Core I5 8300

Geforce GTX 1060

120 HZ Gsyng display 17 inches

8GB Ram

120GB SSD + 1000GB HDD

New price 1300 euro you get with a normal PC for less than half

The PC has the disadvantage that peripherals such as a monitor, keyboard and mouse have to be purchased. And he lacks mobility.

That was it.

If you do not buy the cat in a poke, you only have advantages with a desktop PC.

The price for the same performance is lower because the components do not have to be optimized for minimum space requirements and power consumption. We're talking about significant differences. You get a solid gaming PC for around 700 euro. A comparable notebook goes into the four-digit.
If you like, you can assemble the components absolutely individually and according to your own priorities. Notebooks leave little room for configuration and for gamers the graphics card is often the biggest sticking point.
Upgrading is easy in the PC. Who takes the money in hand, can exchange any component at will. For notebooks most components are soldered. More than one other hard drive and an additional memory bar are usually not in it. Another processor or graphics card usually means buying a new notebook.

Well you can connect to a laptop monitors… Whether that makes sense but is on another sheet
