Is my laptop too weak for Minecraft?

I got a new laptop three months ago (HP). Unfortunately, this is not the fastest. Unfortunately, this also affects Minecraft: I can't go without a fat jerk. Here first to hardware (Please do not scare.)

AMD E2-9000e Dual Core CPU 1.5 GHz
AMD Radeon R2 graphics chip

What's funny about that is the fact that my old laptop (built in 2010) had equally bad hardware, but I was always able to play Minecraft fluently and without major problems. (Unfortunately, I can't say more about the hardware of my old laptop, because he said goodbye a few months ago)

I've already tried everything (Optifine, 2 GB of RAM, Java assigned a higher priority, graphics settings set to "fast", visibility minimized), but nothing was successful. Is there still a way to make Minecraft reasonably playable (of course I do not expect high-end performance) or do I just have to accept that my laptop is not suitable for that?

Well, if you look at your old processor, what can you expect? Is not meant bad. But Minecraft actually packs every laptop…
