Unfortunately, this is no longer possible, which is pretty stupid. Especially big ones will be extremely annoying. But you can be a bit unfair. Place a Comannd block and enter / kill (name of the player who should no longer participate in the world). Then on the left is chaining there you go and repeat. Give him another redstone block below. The player is killed at every respawn and at some point he no longer wants to.
