Why is my CPU so hot all the time?

I built my first PC two days ago and my CPU (Ryzen 5 3600) gets up to 85 degrees hot in Minecraft and changes with jumps of 10 degrees each. In addition, at Ryzen Master my CPU clock speed is 400mhz and at CPU voltage 0.75 to 0.85 volts, can someone help me and tell me what is going wrong?

Do you have enough fan in it and did you also put the cooling paste on the CPU?

Sh

Thermal paste and cooler on it?

Fa

There was thermal compound on the cooler but when I put it on the first time I removed the cooler again because I tightened the screws incorrectly. A small amount of thermal compound was already on the cooler.

Modern cpus can cope with temperatures of just under 100 °, but in the long run it shortens the lifespan.

when you play it always means "full throttle" for the cpu, so you should always ensure first-class cooling and good ventilation.

the thermal paste or pad must also be applied correctly during assembly, otherwise there's heat build-up in places without direct contact.

the installation of an air tunnel for cpu ventilation has also proven to be helpful. Instead of the internal air that has already been heated by other devices, this wire-reinforced paper tube leads, which leads cooler outside air directly from a side wall (with ventilation grille) to the CPU fan.

Water cooling has been the "non-plus-ultra" for gamers for years, but is difficult to install.

if you have the air duct in the pc case sensible and not oversized (maximum fans, in front at the bottom and at the back out; that's enough), your cpu should not come over 70 ° even at full throttle.

Sh

No. Are the screws also tightened (hand)?

Fa

Didn't try to tighten it too much but should I loosen the cooler again?

Sh

Can the screws be screwed in without much force?

Fa

So in order to screw the screws in even more, that would need some strength

Sh

Ok What does the Task Manager display for a clock rate?

Fa

3.5 to 4 GHz

Sh

It's ok. Download Speccy and look at the CPU Temp there. Could also be selection errors.

Fa

Yes at Msi Afterburner it was a bit high, use the ryzen master app and I'm now shown 75 degrees, but why is the temperature so high even though only 20% of the CPU is used?

Sh

Load the CPU completely with Prime95 and note the temperature and the clock.
