Cpu runs when starting minecraft at over 100 degrees and 100% utilization?

A few days ago I updated my CPU from an AMD Ryzen 5 3600x to a Ryzen 7 3700x. Now my CPU gets hot very quickly and is quickly used to capacity. Is my CPU broken or is it the software (I already have the latest BIOS version, drivers are also up to date).

Components: AMD Radeon 5700XT, Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 2 x 8GB, ASUS prime B450M-A, 1TB SSD m.2 from Samsung, 2TB SSD from Crucial, AMD Ryzen 7 3700x with stock fan

Minecraft shouldn't be optimized so much that it can use all of its cores. Is it maybe a display error? How do you check it Otherwise, I would estimate that the cooler or thermal paste is not on it correctly and that it overheats directly and shifts itself down where the 100% utilization comes from.

If you continue to use the PC as it is, sooner or later the processor will melt away.

Do not switch on the PC until you have connected or replaced the processor fan correctly.

I monitored everything with the task manager, cpu-z and cpu temp, all cores are used to 100%. I could apply new thermal paste again, but it can't really be because the paste was already applied to the cooler block.

Look if he can achieve the performance it should be in Cinebench. It should not reach 100 degrees if it is really cooled. Does the cooling fan also turn? And what about clock rates? If it is lower than it should, then it will be too hot. It can withstand 100 degrees, but it automatically slows down so as not to exceed it.

In normal use, the CPU does not get hotter than 60 degrees.

I still don't turn on my computer anymore.

I have already fixed the problem, I applied new thermal paste and reattached everything, now my CPU is only 40 degrees hot. Even in Cinebench, I only achieve a maximum temperature of 56 degrees.

Thanks again for all the help.
