Hey, have an Asus VivoBook S15 and when playing Minecraft, my CPU temerature rises quickly to 85 - 90 degrees. If I have no program open and am on the destop it's about 73 degrees. Is that normal?
Processor: Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-8250U
How long have you got the laptop?
So about 8 months
Could be that it is a bit too warm in your room and that it is due to the temperatures or the fan is full of dust
In here is normal room temperature. I'm worried about screwing my PC and damaging something.
As long as you still have warranty on the laptop I would not screw it on
A laptop has naturally higher temperatures and 80 degrees + are still there, you should remove the battery and you earth, then dust off and renew the thermal grease. Make sure you put the laptop down there so it can suck in air.
Okay, I have 2 years left.
With laptop, the cooling is relatively bad, so that's normal.
