Minecraft Dungeons is a completely independent game, which is why you have to buy the game. The release, at least for the computer, was at 10:00 a.m. Today. It is not possible, as was the case with Windows 10 Edition, to get the game for free for a while.

PS: I don't understand why everyone always wants all games for free. A lot of time and effort has gone into the games. So it is only understandable if a game is also sold at full price… If you want to buy it cheaper, then you will have to wait 1-2 years… Then with luck you will get it at a lower price…
