Selling the Minecraft account (Windows version)?

I accidentally bought the Windows edition of Minecraft and now wanted to sell it to buy the Java edition. The problem is that I have already redeemed the product key in the Microsoft Store. Can i still sell it? And does it even work that a third party can use my Minecraft account / product key after the sale?
