I can't use the Shift key in Minecraft to sort items into boxes. Have I had the problem since playing on the MacBook?

I didn't have this problem on the old computer (it was a Windows PC). But other players I know don't have this problem. Due to the problem, I'm very limited in crafting and sorting boxes.

Take a look at your game settings maybe it's different or something.
