Minecraft Zombie is not spawning?

I would like to build an automatic iron farm I have put my survival map on creative mode the required villagers I can spawn as usual from eggs but no monsters like zombies, etc. If I want to spawn, they are almost immediately gone why is that?

You are in peaceful mode, you have to change that

You have to set the difficulty level from peaceful to easy, normal or difficult.
