I read something about the fact that MC Java accounts have to be transferred to Microsoft accounts by autumn 2021. Now I have 2 questions:
Where can I move my account if no notification appears on minecraft.net account overview?
How does it work with the Microsoft store under Windows 7?
So I think under Windows 7 you don't need a Windows Store. With the Minecraft Account you just have to log in with your Microsoft account. So instead of going to Mojang, we're moving it to a Microsoft account.
Mojang will notify you by email as soon as the move is ready, and I think by email it will definitely clarify a step how that should be done.
We'll see all of this when it comes to that 😅
It has nothing to do with the store. You will link your Mojang account to your Microsoft account and log in with it in the future.

The Microsoft Store is not directly linked to a Microsoft account.
Whether Windows 10, XBox or soon Minecraft… All you have to do is log in with your Microsoft account.
Take YouTube as an example, you also log in with your Google account, but you can still use any other browser that is not Chrome.
