Crafting foliage in Minecraft?

Can you somehow craft the foliage or leaves on the trees? I would love to clap it at my house, but if you knock it off nothing falls down except for seedlings and an apple. Would be unrealistic but in Minecraft a lot is possible, qie it looks like?

In the creative way, no items drop when dismantling

Dismantle with scissors or dismantle with a Silk Touch tool.

Because you're in creative mode, nothing drops no matter what you do. It's definitely possible to use scissors, Vando was right.
