Why do so many players like Minecraft?

I don't like the game at all, because the graphics are not good there and it usually takes a long time to build if you want to create something very nice.

How does it come about that some players searched the game extremely long? And are not bored with it?

Why do some people like lasagna?

The graphics are not good? Should it be satire?

That's why it's popular. The variety of possibilities to live out your imagination in terms of building and crafting is high. There's also the survival aspect.

It's not a doom to play once and never again. It is a life's work if you bring the right attitude and desire. I love such games, not necessarily Minecraft, because I don't like graphics either. But still nice that there are such valuable games, also in terms of learning technology.

There are people who have more in their heads than playing and being first when playing games. Seen intellectually.

There are shaders and texture packs against the graphics. It is exactly the building that makes the game so worth playing. You have to spend time, but you are proud of yourself when you finish it.

"Good" graphics are subjective. High-resolution textures and models with many polygons do not automatically make good graphics. Especially since the whole thing is outdated very quickly.

It is also not true that you always have to invest a lot of time if you want to build something. With increasing experience in the game you can implement your ideas faster and then it doesn't take long to build something sensible.

Maybe you should try it yourself. First watch yourself (good) Minecraft videos. But please do not get a wrong picture through these "Main-Stream" Minecraft videos, how they come out when you enter "Minecraft German". I could recommend the Minecraft series by Pewdiepie, if you can understand English well: https://www.youtube.com/...XDNhqLKywk

There he starts playing Minecraft himself and says himself that he loves the game. Otherwise, maybe the old Freedom of Paluten project (almost 400 episodes, don't be frightened ^^). There Paluten came up with his very own story and implemented it. Just choose what you like and this will certainly motivate you to get the game.

I personally like the game because it stands out from the other games and you have theoretically unlimited possibilities. There are modifications, plugins, maps, data packs, texture packs that you can download to get a lot more things into the game (items, game mechanics, graphics,.). You can program these mods or plugins yourself or design maps or texture packs yourself and put them online. You can make short films, play PvP, build, meet players, set up a server, participate in roleplays, build redstone mechanics, and so much more. I can't list all of them here ^^

You may just feel overwhelmed by all of this, but I advise you to just get in and try it out. After a while you will understand why so many like it.
