For some time now I've had the problem (since I uninstalled Forge) that Minecraft only starts when I close the launcher via the Task Manager. (I've already reinstalled the game…)
Take a look in the launcher settings (bottom right) whether there's a checkmark next to leave Laucher open in the background. Take the hook out of there.
I did, now it starts like this, but it crashes at about 90%
P.S: I've already restarted Minecraft in a new profile, in a different folder, and I still have the problem…
Which error message comes when the crash occurs?
Either nothing or exit code 0
Then let's create a crash report, I think it's also possible in the settings.
