Mojang registration not possible?

Today I created a Mojang account and bought myself Minecraft Java Edition. So I just wanted to sign up so I can download the launcher. But if I enter my data all right, nothing happens. There's not even a charging symbol or the like. I have already restarted my router and laptop. I would like to say, however, that the registration on my mobile at Minecraft.net works! (So I have not mistyped myself, etc.) Can someone please help me with this? I really do not know why it could be.
