Minecraft Java Edition without a Mojang account?

I'm on the verge of despair. My junior wants to play Minecraft Java Edition. Game bought at Minecraft, paid for, received confirmation, signed in with Microsoft account data. He is logged into the HP of Minecraft. Is working. But if he wants to play and start the launcher and we enter the Microsoft data for the login data, we get an error message. I get the information from Microsoft that I need a Mojang account. But that's exactly what I can't do. What should I do? Please answer clearly. I don't understand technical German at all.

Br

You certainly haven't bought the Windows 10 edition?

You need a Mojang account for the Java Edition. Minecraft should be on it.

Ph

No, Java Edition. A Mojang account can no longer be created

Cu

Did you buy the Java Edition or the Bedrock Edition?

La

I've been hearing this problem over and over for the past two months.

It has been known since last year that Microsoft is migrating all Mojang accounts to Microsoft accounts and I think this means that the login servers are a bit overloaded or do not work correctly with new accounts.

Unfortunately, I have not yet been able to find a solution, other than complaining to Microsoft.

Br

Oh really. They probably changed a few months ago

What happens when you log in here with your microsoft account? https://www.minecraft.net/...n-us/login

Does he tell you then that you should buy it? https://www.minecraft.net/...va-edition

Sometimes waiting a little helps, because you've only just bought it.

Ph

Java

Cu

Where can I buy it on www.minecraft.net?

Ph

Link 1: we're registered there, Link 2: here I should download. The login problem only appears with the launcher, which you have to start separately

Ph

We have already bought three times and received a refund via buyer protection. Waiting won't work

Ph

Yes

Cu

For me it was so that you needed an account to buy on minecraft.net but this is already 1 year ago so I don't know what is current but none should be available and none can be created, the server would probably be overloaded then simply a wait a few days and try again or maybe write to support

Br

Well, did you buy it three times today or over a longer period of time? To me, waiting means just waiting until tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

Otherwise write to the support, maybe they can help you.

Ph

Support is not that easy: Answers take several weeks

Cu

But it is better to wait 2 weeks or so and at the end have spent money for free and not be able to play Minecraft

Sy

I'm not sure about my answer because I still have a Mojang account.

Log into your Microsoft account and start Minecraft. Sign in to the launcher with your email address and password or with Minecraft name and password. I guess these are not the same as your Microsoft account. Surely you gave some username when you bought it.

If all else fails, call / write to Microsoft support. He is responsible for such problems.
