I'm going to get Minecraft for my PC and a buddy told me that if you buy the Bedrock edition of Minecraft you get the Java Edition for free. Is that correct?
No, that is not correct. There was once a promotion if you bought the Java Edition before October 19, 2018 that you could get the Windows 10 Edition.
The last opportunity to redeem this key was in April.
As far as I don't know.
You have to buy the java edition from mojang and the bedrock edition from the Microsoft Store.
I recommend the Java Edition because the gameplay is simply clean and you have more server options.
Then you know wrong. The offer was available when you bought the Java Edition, but, as already mentioned, was ended in April 2020.
As you mentioned, did it end? That means that I'm right because it no longer works
"As far as I don't know." speaks against the fact that the offer was once or that the last opportunity to redeem the key was in April. Then what were you right about?
I'm right that it no longer works. He didn't ask if it was possible, but if it is currently possible. And I answered that correctly 😉
I said that it is no longer possible, which can be determined from the word "April". So you denied it.
LOL. I answered you?! I actually wanted to write my own answer
