Me and a friend of mine wanted to play a horror map. I just want to know how to play with him on a map. We have already downloaded the map, this is the St. Josephines Horror Map. We don't want to be on Sticky Piston anymore, there are only boring maps.
I assume you play on PC
To add a map you have to press the Windows key + R, then enter in the box:% appdata%, then go to the folder ".minecraft" then go to "saves" and put the folder in there from the map. If you want to play together it would be best to play on the same internet. If you play on Java Edition, you would otherwise have to create a server (there are many tutorials, just pull the map into the "world" folder. If you play on Bedrock, I don't know how to import maps, but to do it together you just have to play on Xbox live as friends and then go together into a world. Yes, delete the "world" folder and name the map folder "world" and put it there

Okay, got it. But, the connection could not be made. We actually have a map on 1.8, but we also tried 1.15.2. Somehow doesn't work.
Do you have Hamachi like in the video? You right click at hamachi there in the top left corner and then on "Copy IPV4 address (will be shown in the video, I think) then in this properties file at IP address: * paste IP here *
then restart server, and then you and your friend have to press this IP on "Add Server in Minecraft"
Of course I meant server-ip instead of ip-address
I did, but it still doesn't work. I have gone through everything in total over 5 times.
