How to find flints in Minecraft
By mining gravel. Sometimes it takes a while because the chance is only 5-10%, but I just don't know it out of my head.
Dismantle with gravel
You will get flint with a certain probability.
You have to dig gravel for this. The best thing to do is to use a shovel with the highest possible "luck" enchantment. Then each mined block of gravel becomes a flint.
When you break down a block of gravel, you get a flint with a certain probability:
Nothing: 10%
Happiness I: 14%
Happiness II: 25%
Luck 3: 100%
There's also a 55.8% chance of finding between 1 and 3 flints in an arrowmaker's chest.
