I'm in a tricky situation… I want to start a Minecraft project (gladly with friends) and I have both versions. My friends only have the Bedrock version. In the Java version you have a lot more options than in Bedrock, e.g. With commands. Now the question is: Should I start a project in the Bedrock version with friends but with few possibilities or Java with all possibilities but alone without friends?
(I'm 13 years old)
I don't care if I have to play alone, but Java is simply the best Minecraft version.
I find it nicer on the Java version, it's entirely up to you. You can meet new people on Severn or gamble with your current friends. I was also faced with the decision, but my school friends weren't the brightest and best, that's why I met new people on servers with the same interests.
Then you will probably have to play alone. Maybe you can persuade your friends to get Java or make new friends on servers.
Unfortunately they don't have a computer
Okay, that's a problem, of course
What are you going to build?
A city
I could help you with command blocks in Minecraft Java. I can also handle data packs badly.
It depends on what you want to do exactly. With Vanilla Minecraft you can get pretty far. Therefore, the Bedrock Edition should be enough.
I was going to build a train. So: Minecart, armor stand (invisible), boat. That is not possible in Bedrock.
