Moin, I have a problem with Minecraft, 80% of the whole start of the game, the sound is not, have also looked in the sound settings of Windows and Minecraft. Under Windows, Minecraft does not appear to me as sound device, on the official help page of Mojang I have found nothing to it.
Games in the 1.12.2 because of mods (sound is synonymous without mods not) Current is otherwise 1.14.4
This is Minecraft Java Edition (Windows 10 is installed)
80% of the whole game starts, the sound does not work
Does the sound not work for 80% of the game or only at startup?
Does not work, the probability that the sound is 20%
Press F3+ S, or F3+ T in the game.
This restarts the sound engine, maybe it will work.
Works thank you
To find out what the error is, if it occurs again:
Open the launcher, go to Options on the bottom left, then choose to keep an output history open while Minecraft is running.
Then you start Minecraft. In the second tab, which then opens, an error will appear in red. You enter that then with Google and look for a solution.
Let me quote a quote that I found in a post on the internet:
Minecraft in the volume mixer, try to change the "Mipmap Levels" option in video settings (under "Quality" when using Optifine).
It works for many people and so worked for me. So you can put it back to your desired settings afterwards.

Oh, you should disable information in the output protocol, otherwise you will not find the error among the 10000 info. Only as a tip.
Yeah thanks
Okay, but that was already there before optifine, but has also done, just restart the sound engine.
