Minecraft Java mods?

When I install Minecraft mods, this message always comes up (photo). What should I choose or how can I add in minecraft. Thanks

Mods are not installed by running the .jar file as far as I know. It's best to have a look at a tutorial.

You don't need to open the .jar files.

Press WIN + R then go to the .minecraft folder and drag the .jar mods into the "Mods" folder

To paste, copy the .jar or .zip into the folder
