Build Minecraft above block limit height?

I have inquired about mods but found none

In server settings you can do the setting!

You can set the maximum height on your server in the server.properties. "max-build-height = 256"

I've already had it a thousand times, e.g. 300 put, did not work.

My theory:

Either it doesn't do anything or you can only reduce the height

The server.properties (if the option does anything at all) can only reduce the height, not increase it

The Mod Cubic Chunks are there for that
