I got VIP and can sometimes fly in survival mode. Yesterday such a stupid VIP said I can't fly because it's a forbidden glitch. Is that correct? The mod that was there did nothing or said anything. So my question is whether it is allowed to fly in survival mode, which I honestly don't want to be banned: /
Anything that the operators / admins of the respective servers allow or forbid is permitted or forbidden.
You have to read up on that in the rules of the server. Nobody here can know what rules apply to each of the X thousand Minecraft servers.
