There are two different versions of Minecraft.
Java Edition (Original): The Java Edition is the right Minecraft. There's only on the PC
Bedrock Edition (Half Original): The edition is a different edition that is actually also the original. They are available for every device.
Conclusion: The Bedrock Edition is a version with a lot of bugs (errors). The Java Edition has a lot more festures. And there you can choose whether you want to play in 1.16.4 or want to play in 1.16.3 and so on, every version works as well as 1.8. That's why I wouldn't buy it on my cell phone. Buy the Java Edition on your PC.

That is wrong, the two versions do not differ in terms of features, the bedrock is definitely cleaner and has very seldom bugs in contrast to the Java version.
