I recently got a new PC and of course I also downloaded Minecraft there. But then came the problem that I could no longer log in, although I know my details. Resetting the password doesn't work either because it is never sent to my email. So what can I do besides create a new account, which I honestly don't want.
Hi! I have the same problem. Minecraft / Mojang converts the legacy accounts to Microsoft accounts and that takes a while. Until then you can't log in
But my friends could register as normal. Is it simply because your account has already been exchanged?

That is not completely right. You can still log in with your Mojang account and reset your password. You have to convert the account yourself when you receive an email. If you don't convert your account you won't be able to play anymore.
