At first I thought, hopefully the swamp will gain biome. But then I learned that there are only frogs and new trees. Sure, frogs for Minecraft are cool. But that is unfortunately only 2 properties…
The update of the Wasteland biome looks in my opinion already much more interesting. Because there are so-called steppe runners. And they would, in my opinion, make this biome much livelier. Also the new cacti looked pretty nice. Vultures are now also in this biome. At least that's 3 cool features. It is a pity that this biome is so rare…):
The mountain biome is apparently to get deeper snow, in which one can sink. The generation of the biome should also be changed (higher mountains) and there should be goats…
I think the Badlands Update is the coolest, but this biome is extremely rare. That's why I would take the mountain biome. (Even if the decision is very difficult for me)

New trees? Frogs? I'm in, that's enough for me. After swamp I would be for mesa, which is too rare.
@ Yoshie32 I think there are even three features for the swamp biome. Namely you can put chests in the boats.
Not quite, there are boats with chests in which Loot is generated.
