Which of these Minecraft updates did you like best?

(It's not about the version, but about the respective update and the associated new features)

Which of these Minecraft updates did you find the coolest?

(I deliberately left out 1.16 so that some variation comes in) I also left out the 1.10 because it was only a very small update.

Best of all I find the very original beta versions, 1.3 or so. But 1.13 was again a really good and extensive update, I think.

The 1.5 back then, because of all the new redstone stuff.

I actually only played the game in the creative to build fat redstone circuits, so that was the hottest update for me.

I actually think a lot about the Villager update, but at least the Villager is available in another form without the update.

I would have preferred to include all versions, but there are only a limited number of selection buttons.

For me the 1.5 version was the best change at that time. After that there were also good things but until then I had also played. I just have Minecraft behind me and the new updates especially the critters that appear when you are not sleeping are mega wrong. With the takeover of M $, the downfall was sealed for me.

You mean the phantoms. If these enemies annoy you, you have to sleep every 3 nights to prevent them from spawning. I personally like these opponents. They look cool and have cool animation, but they are difficult to kill.

Well Minecraft lived from the fact that there were only a few items. Creativity was required and today more and more stuff is being brought into the game, making it increasingly difficult to offer servers. I had a server with several players for over 6 years. The record was once> 40 players at the same time. In total we had over 2500 visitors, of which about 150 actually played actively.

I think it's great that new features are added. For example, the observer from 1.11 or the lanterns from 1.14 I find very cool innovations! The more decorative blocks are added, the more you can live out your creativity. But I can also understand a little that you find it stupid when more and more items are added. You obviously seem to prefer the minimalist Minecraft.

Beta 1.7.3 and full version 1.5 were also great.
