What is the meaning of the Nether in Minecraft?

I have built a Nether Portal and have been to Nether a few times. What's the point of it It's really boring.

There's a castle somewhere you can explore as much as I know! And I always got the stuff you need for the lamps!

Nether quartz can be processed into columns and other very aesthetic blocks, nether rack is good as a material that burns forever without breaking.

And then there's Lohen and other stuff and brew nether warts for potions, but that was never mine.

You can find withers skeletons there. With their heads you can then decorate your house or create a "boss". 3 wither skeleton heads and 4 soul sand if the recipe has not changed

The boss is quite strong, however, so don't take it lightly, especially since, to my knowledge, he also destroys terrain to a certain extent.

You have to go into the Nether to "unlock" the two bosses.

Please and the standard ground in the nether (netherrack (no idea how to write)) you can start an eternal fire by simply lighting the block.
