Hi, i'm playing minecraft and i killed a group of pillagers. They stormed my village and the villagers are gone now. But my question is, what's the point of killing the leader Pillager? I have a sign like this on the top right of my screen, what does that mean?
If you kill a pillager with a banner, you get the bad omen effect (the symbol on the top right).
If you go to a village with it, a raid will be started and then you have to protect the village.
That's exactly what happened to you, but you apparently screwed up the raid xd
(I can't manage every raid btw either)
If you had won the raid you would get the Hero Of The Village effect and then all villagers would give about 99% discount on their items for 30 minutes for the players with such an effect.
It should also be mentioned that this effect can be removed. If you have the effect and you don't want the next village to be attacked, just drink a bucket of milk. Then the effect is removed.
Someone just attacked my "dead" village again and protected it, but I have to look for a new one and bring my things over. Thanks, I didn't know that haha (been playing minecraft for 5 years.
