Hey I've been trying to learn how to write plugins for the past few months. But I'm at a point where I don't know how to continue learning. I've watched Bivieh's tutorials for beginners, but I'm still relatively bad. Do you have any recommendations?
Did you ever learn Java? If no then it will never be that way.
I have a Java book
Having a book doesn't do much. I also have some books on the shelf that I have never read.
What would you rather recommend?
I'm only 14, my parents would not allow me a course for money
Work through it and learn Java. Ideally with your own projects. Or where do you want to be from? I can tell you from experience that unfortunately it doesn't work if the book is only on the shelf.
There's no need to spend money on any courses.
I started reading again, but I'm a little impatient, which is why I can also program plugins as soon as possible
No. It will not work like that. First learn the basics.
I will try
Take on projects, for example an FFA plugin, that is not extremely difficult and there you learn a lot because you use a lot of listeners, did it first and brought me a lot because it is often the same with Spigot is what you do, or the listeners are mostly all structured the same way, so just take a project, what you will do, etc.
Have watched the videos of Bivieh, but only up to the 10 episode, then a friend helped me and learned with him in 10min than with Bivieh in about 40min…
