Enable Minecraft Java Multiplayer?

I bought Minecraft Java Edition. I wanted to play online, but it says that I have to activate multiplayer. I went to the settings of my Microsoft account, but there's nothing about it. Can someone help me?

I had that problem too. You have to ask your parents to go to the link like in the 2nd screenshot. Then they have to log in with their account and then they can click on your profile and allow multiplayer.

Yes, the Xbox account is the Microsoft account. All you have to do is sign in with your Microsoft account
