Parrot on my shoulder?

Could someone explain to me how you can make a parrot fly onto your shoulder on the Minecraft Bedrock version?

You have to feed him with seeds until he is a tooth. Then it starts to follow you and sooner or later it lands on your shoulder.

He's already tamed and follows me, but I can't find any clues on how to take him on my shoulder.

Occasionally he does this all by himself.
