Hertz change in Minecraft?

I have a 144hz monitor but when I open Minecraft I only have 60, how can I change that to 144?

So in Windows and so everything is normal only in Minecraft halt

Then minecraft will not support 144hz

This has nothing to do with the monitor, Hertz indicates the refresh rate. I assume that you mean fps and you change it in Settings> Graphics

Hertz and fps are completely different things.

Do you have V-Sync? If yes, turn that off the best. It could also be because your maximum frame rate is limited to 60 fps, which you should then increase to 144Hz, the best Optifine download, because it is easiest
