Hi, I have Minecraft on the Switch and I love building something with Redstone in creative. But I don't quite get the amplifier. Can anyone explain to me?
As you may have noticed, redstone signals are getting weaker and weaker. But an amplifier sets a signal back to maximum strength. It also delays the signal (sometimes useful, sometimes annoying). On the standard setting by one tick (twentieth of a second), clicking once is 2 ticks and so on until 4 ticks delay. The signal then remains activated for the corresponding number of ticks if the input signal is already off.
