A website or a program to test Minecraft scripts without a server?

I'm very interested in writing Minecraft scripts, but for the sake of simplicity I wanted to use a website or program to check for errors and correctness, does anyone happen to know one?

How does that work? You have to try them out.

You can download the server for free from Mojang.

According to my status there's none, but it is not particularly difficult to quickly create a server locally.

I also need a certain script plug-in, which I only had on a different PC and can no longer find it now

Then of course you can't test it either.

I recommend you if you want to start something like that "program" properly.

I do this as a small base. I have already started with "proper" programming with Java and will mainly concentrate on it

Very good decision. You have to test logic and for that you have to be an in-game. Therefore it is not possible without a server.

Install Oracle Virtualbox. Then use it to create a virtual machine and set up a Minecraft server on it. Then you also have the possibility to test scripts.

I then recommend installing Ubuntu Server as the operating system on the created virtual machine. Here is the download of the ISO: https://ubuntu.com/download/server I recommend the LTS version. This is the current stable long-term support version.

Here's how to set up a Minecraft server: https://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Archiv/Dedizierter_Minecraft-Server/

When creating a virtual computer, select Ubuntu 64bit as the operating system parameters. Leave the other parameters as they are.
