Host / create gaming server on your own PC?

I want to buy a nine PC that I use as a server. I wanted to use this as a gaming server but before I wanted to spend money I wanted to know how to host gaming servers on your own PC / server. With Minecraft I know how it works because of the 1000 tutorials on the internet, but like other games like GTA5 or Satisfactory, among us etc. Stop games that support private servers. What I have already researched is that you can create game servers with Linux but there were really cool games but it is not worth buying a server for that. I get my Zaphosting or other server provider to host almost every game that supports private servers. So my question is how do I host all games on my PC that support a private server such as. Among us, GTA 5, Satisfactory, etc.

All games? That won't work on a server. In addition, I would not recommend a normal PC to you, buy real server hardware. And deal with the topic beforehand, especially look at how much the fun costs you, the electricity will not be cheap for it ^^ (And the server needs enough ventilation too)

I don't want to play all of them at the same time just like project one month this server and the other month another but thank you anyway

Nevertheless buy server hardware and no gaming hardware for it ^^

Why? Server cpus are very expensive. Gaming cpus are better suited for many game servers, if not most, because many game servers do not benefit from many cores as the classic server application does. No CPU breaks from 24/7 operation. Enterprise stuff like ECC Ram is not needed by the questioner.

Do all of these game servers have to run 24/7 at the same time? Can't you just do this on your main PC that you also play on?

I'm not going to write instructions for all the games on the market, you have to do your own research. With GTA, for example, you have to get some information. Servers are not officially supported by the game, you need your own game launcher. There are various server software, etc.

Before you buy a PC now, rent a vServer that has sufficient performance. You can't host all game servers at the same time, but you can at least have them installed.
