As the title suggests, I would like to use SSH (or similar) to access an Ubuntu server on which no user interface is running. I started a Minecraft server (in the console) directly on the server via the console. Is it possible for me to connect to this current session via SSH?
As far as I know, a new session is always started. My problem is that I would like to access and manage the session where the Minecraft server is running. If I understand it correctly I could only start a new session, i.e. Also a new instance of the Minecraft server, or are there also ways to access it directly?
Screen is the solution.
You start a new screen and everything you need in there. After that you can always go back to the screen.
Perfect, exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
