To those who don't know what Ploudos is: Ploudos is a free server hoster for Minecraft. You can also create multiple servers there. Each server is 1.5 gb ram. With Modserver it is 2GB ram. The Ploudos servers have 4GB hard disk. The server can easily keep up with the performance of 20 players. Ploudos is much better than Aternos. But how do you like Ploudos?
Is it always online?
No but it takes a minute to start.
It's better than Aternos. PloudOS starts in a minute. Aternos with vanilla but 6 minutes.
However, I use Host-Unlimited. If you want a good server that supports 24/7, has an AntiDDoS system and costs little, then get a VPS or GameServer.
I also use ploudos because you can even join Bedrock
Compared to McHost24 bad, but for the fact that Ploudos is free, it is actually awesome
And it's definitely better than Aternos
Can with Aternos also if you adjust
What do you like better? Ploudos or aternos?
Haven't tested Ploudos yet because I haven't had anything wrong with Aternos yet. Why should you switch when everything fits.
How easy is it to install modpacks on Ploudos?
Is there a ready-made list of thousands of packs, too, and you can choose one with two clicks? Or do you have to upload them yourself?
Modpacks are my only point of criticism because it has little. But the performance is 20 billion times better
Aternos has enough performance, at least for my purposes. I can't get more than 8 players anyway.
But then I vote for Aternos, there's a huge selection of modpacks, mods and plugins, all of which can be installed with two clicks. Love it. So far everything was there that I wanted.
So it has all mods and plugins from spigot and forge
I can't add "outside mods" to aternos, but if nothing works i'll stay on it
