Hi, minecraft has just updated itself automatically and is now in 1.15. On some servers you can't play on this version yet, so is there a way to play on an older version (the 1.14)?
Yes of course. Simply set in the launcher
How does it work? I can only choose whether I want to play the latest development version or the latest full version.
Create a new profile.
You have to go to Installations in the launcher in the bar at the top, enter "New" and then enter a name and select your version. Then create and it is in the list with developer version, etc.
Did you buy Minecraft or do you only have a trial version?
If you bought it, check out @ JustSchitzel47's answer. That explains it so that you normally understand it
Bought.
So when I press play, it says, "A file could not be downloaded; the contents of the file are different from what was expected".
Then unfortunately I can't help you, I did not have the problem myself and I know Java net, sry
Well, thanks anyway
