Namely, with the Aternos website, you can host Minecraft servers there. But the server ID always ends in .aternos.me. Is it possible to change this somehow? Is there such a thing as Premium? Or can you not put that away?

LG, and thanks in advance 😇

La

See Aternos forum:

Ge

Ok what is there now? 😇😋🤔

La

An answer that says it is now possible. At the bottom

Ge

OK at the bottom I look times thanks

Ge

OK, I read it, but I'm not such a professional in English 😅 and what is DNS?

Ge

So how does it work 😇😅😋

Ge

Please what do i have to do?

Lu

Simply rent a Yerver with domain from e.g. DeinServerHost.de. I would leave Aternos

Ge

Is that free? (By the way, I've already started and built so much with the server, I don't want to just give that up)

Ge

What is domain? 😇😅😋🤔

Lu

No of course not. Just as little as with Aternos.

Ge

How much is it?

Lu

I don't know from my head. Compared to other providers, DSH is cheaper and has good support.

Lu

But it also depends on how much power your server should have.

Ge

OK, I'll have a look 😇

La

You have to buy a domain, then change the name server entries to the ones given and then you can give yourself your own domain.

Ge

Okaayyy… 😅, where can I buy a domain?

Ge

And how much money? 🤔

Ge

Thank you for everything 😇

La

I use IONOS for this.

0.08 euro per month for the first twelve months

Thereafter 1.30 per month

For something like this you need a domain (deinedomain.de/.com/.net). You have to rent a domain for money, almost nothing in this world is free. If you have rented a domain you have to create so-called DNS records. This connects your domain to the Aternos server. You can find many tutorials on YouTube… Enter "Forward domain to Aternos server", if there's nothing you have to write to me again.

Ge

Thank you, you have helped me a lot 😇

Ge

Thank you, your answer was very helpful, but I've already figured out most of it 😇 (in the comments on the other answer to this question)
