My brother would like to create a free Minecraft server.
In order for the players to be able to join the server, a port must be activated. I know the Minecraft port is: [25565]. I tried dynamic port activation and port forwarding. The correct desktop device has also been selected. So that I know whether it works, I go to a port tester: https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ to check whether the port has been activated. No matter what I do, it stays closed.
My question arises. Do I need a requirement for this?
So do I have to buy something to make it work?

All right thanks
He must use the (fixed) port forwarding, not the dynamic activation (it is best to switch this off completely here).
And then the best way to test it is to have someone try to join the server.
In the case of port testers, other things can also cause the port testers to display closed.
Cool thank you
