I've always been to Living-Bots. I looked around for a root server upgrade. Hence my question what is better it is often said MCHost24 be bad.
MChost24: 6 cores, 16GB Ram
or
Livingbots: 4 cores, 12 GB RAM
It depends on what processors are installed. MC servers with only 2.2 GHz per core are grotty…
At Livingbots it should actually be Intel E5er.
I can recommend you to choose MCHost24 because you get more performance for your money. However, if you choose a Livingbots you will get support that responds in less than an hour and better DDos protection etc. As a last step you have to think about what you want rather a little more power or build a system where you can get competent and fast support.
Must not mean to know ;-)
When I rent a server somewhere, I always pay attention to which processors are installed.
With Minecraft hosters you will practically never get the best PL ratio, even if you order root servers there. Other hosts such as netcup offer more performance, lower prices, a reasonable uptime guarantee and good support (at netcup you should currently only order on a monthly basis, as new servers with Ryzen CPUs are coming soon).
If you want to spend a little more, there are also very inexpensive dedicated servers in the Hetzner server exchange.
Of the services MCHost24 may be good, but I have often had the pleasure that my server was often rebuilt for no reason…
